Milwaukee 8 Cylinder Heads

Milwaukee 8 - Street - $950, for 107” / 114” / 117”

The 4 valve M8 cylinder head is a great platform, it has enough CFM in stock form to make 110 horsepower on a 107” motor and 115 horsepower on a 114” / 117”.   What it lacks is velocity, which we add velocity by slightly raising the intake port and blending the exhaust port and valve seats. Easily make 115 horsepower and 125 foot pounds of torque with a 107” and 125 horsepower and 130 foot pounds of torque out of a 114” / 117”. 

Milwaukee 8 - Pro Street - $1250,  for 120” / 124” / 128” / 131” engines

When you build a 120” / 124” / 128” / 131” what you need is high velocity, with LOTS of CFM. We raise the intake port floors, add larger 1.630” intake valves  and finish the heads with 0.625 lift valve springs. Power potential is 135 horsepower and 140 foot pounds of torque for a 120”, up to 150 horsepower and 150 foot pounds of torque out of a 131 cubic inch engine. 

Twin Cam Cylinder Heads

Twin Cam - Street - $900, for 95” - 103” engines

CVN intake ports add velocity and CFM, blend the exhaust port and you have a set of cylinder heads that will make horsepower and lots of torque.  We add 1.900” intake valves, ovate wire valve springs that will support 0.610” lift cams.  Power potential is over 110 horsepower 125 foot pounds of torque with a 103 cubic inch engine.

Twin Cam - Pro Street - $1150, for 113” - 124” engines

CVN intake ports add velocity and CFM, blend the exhaust port, add new 2.020” intake and 1.610” exhaust valves, plus new valve seats and ovate wire valve springs that will support 0.640” lift cams.  Power potential is over 140 horsepower and 150 foot pounds of torque with a 124 cubic inch engine

Sportster / Buell Cylinder Heads

Sportster / Buell - Race / Street - $950

Intake port floors are raised, increasing velocity and CFM, add a 1.840” intake valve and finish off the build with a 0.610” lift ovate wire valve spring kit. Power potential is 110 horsepower and 80 foot pounds of torque with a 1200cc build. We recommend starting with brand new Harley-Davidson castings (unless you have a 2010 or later 1200cc Sportster).

Evolution Cylinder Heads

CVN intake ports add high velocity and CFM, raised floor D-shaped exhaust ports, CNC combustion chambers and you have a set of cylinder heads that will make 100 horsepower.  We add 1.900” intake valves, ovate wire valve springs that will support 0.610” lift cams.  Power potential is over 100 horsepower with a 80”

Our Cylinder Head Methodology:

Internal combustion engines are complicated air pumps, with fuel and ignition added to produce power by the rotation of the crankshaft, and cylinder head is one of the key components needed to produce broad horsepower and torque curves.
Our methodology in developing cylinder heads is:

  1. Determine the CFM (cubic feet per minute) of air needed to produce the required horsepower.

  2. Optimize port geometry so that we achieve the desired CFM with the highest possible port velocity.

  3. Finish the cylinder head off with a 5 angle valve job and go make some horsepower. 

Port velocity:  the speed of the intake and exhaust charge when measured at various sections of the port, usually port velocity is the highest at the short side turn of the port
Flow volume: the volume of air that moves through the port per unit of time, usually measured in cubic feet per minute.

All of our work is provided to customer provided cylinder heads. We do have core exchange cylinder heads, but supplies are limited.
