Because of efficient port architecture and sizing (which
produces improved cylinder filling which results in greater output at
lower RPM) we are proponents of smaller camshafts. Smaller camshafts
Result in more performance with less wear and tear and smoother and quieter
engine operation.
To enhance quietness and simplify assembly, we offer a service of installing
the customer's cam gear on a new camshaft, degree checking the gear, and
then welding it all together. This maintains the original quiet
gear match of the OEM and eliminates poor performance caused by cam gear
timing variations.
